Vanessa Hudgens is teaming back up with her Beastly costar Neil Patrick Harris — this time in Rent!The 21-year-old actress will star as Mimi, a role originated by Daphne Rubin-Vega on Broadway and Rosario Dawson in the film version of Rent.Neil told press, “She came in for a work session, and I must say, Vanessa really impressed. She looks amazing, has great vocal chops, and seems really committed to honoring the somewhat iconic role of Mimi. I look forward to audiences seeing a dark, edgy, and very different side of Vanessa Hudgens this August.”Directed by NPH, the play will run from August 6-8 at the Hollywood Bowl in California.
vanessa as mimi? i don’t really see it but i still think she has a good voice.

so for my sister’s debut my sister, brother, justin, jim, ashley & I are going to perform dances. three practices in i already think this is hard. Our dance teacher is a professional & is trying to make us do some crazy lifts that are way out of our comfort level. I feel like dancing with the stars except their results end up pretty good and they only have a week or so to do it. My toe is already red from all the turning. Hopefully it turns out okay.
