pacquio vs. clottey. So the fight wasn’t exactly what I expected but at least Manny gets to take home another win! I don’t believe these fighters are on the same level. The picture shows it all! Alot of people were complaining because clottey wouldn’t put his hands down but I think if he did there would be a greater chance of him getting knocked out for sure. I can’t wait for the next fight. I hope it pulls through. On a side note, I had a good times with the friends I got to see, so it wasn’t a total loss!
Now that I have learned how to blog through my touch, it will be alot easier!
as of now, we are tied with Norway & Soviet Union for the most gold medals won by a nation at the Olympic Winter Games. I’ll be sad when olympics is over but there is still a few events left alpine skiing & hockey. We have been doing well near the end & hopefully we will end with a bigger bang & beating the record for most olympic medal!
my favourite event this season, speed skating (mostly short track cause I have a short attention span).
my favourite race was the 1000m men’s short track final. The five finalist included Jung-Su Lee & Ho-Suk Lee (Korea), Apolo Ohno (USA), Charles & Francois Hamelin (Canada). What are the chances that brothers make it to the finals! Although, our canadians came into 4th & 5th place. It was still a good match up. I’m excited for the relay race & 500 m still coming up. Hopefully the Hamelin’s can get us something.. & if not then Ohno cause he’s my favourite person from Dancing with the stars!
First, I must say that I was excited since the winter olympics was in Canada this year & I love the cheering in the arena when canadian athletes compete.
But on the other hand I’m a little disappointed with the lack of medals this year especially compared to neighbouring countries aka america. I think alot of it is because everyone’s been boosting on how great canada was going to do this year especially since it here. Overall we’re doing not that bad. It’s exciting to watch, I’ll be sad when it is over.
So far the medical count is 9 (4 gold, 4 silver & 1 bronze) and currently 5th overall. we shall see how it goes there is still lots more to go..
